Volunteer Days
If you would like to be a volunteer call the Sunrise office
(765)935-4291 Monday - Friday from 9am to 12pm.

__________

Sunrise, Inc. is privileged to have the support of local community services, business and professional organizations, and individuals.  So many children in our community could benefit from the experience at Sunrise, Inc.
Working with the children and adults you will see immediately the difference this program makes.  Recently a rider sang along with Joan.  That's no big deal for most children but the parents had never witnessed the child make an attempt to communicate with anyone but them.  Something magical happens here.

Youth Volunteer Opportunities
The Apprentice Club assists riders and other volunteers to become increasingly proficient.  The youth members may begin at ten years of age and graduate to full Volunteers at 14.
The Apprentice program helps young people learn about horsemanship while developing social and leadership skills.  They learn to take their assignments seriously, to be responsible, to be loyal, and to care.   Apprentice volunteers, age 14 to 18, also have the opportunity to serve on the Sunrise Board as Jr members.
